Always welcoming and great service! Breakfast with Santa was excellent, everyone enjoyed it :)
Visited on saturday with friends. Kids enjoyed the play area and food was good. Staff were friendly and speedy. All in all a decent lunch. We will be back.
Very disappointing lunch at the Barn. Service and food poor quality. Total chaos. Waitress was trying her best but constantly saying "sorry" I have been there before when they were not so busy and the service and food was not good then !!! Will not be returning to eat. However the pottery studio within the grounds saved the day and we had a lovely couple of hours distressing after an embarrassing lunch. The new owners have no idea unfortunately.
Really nice place to come for breakfast. Great for kids as loads to do for them to play. Our 2yo loved it. Breakfast was fresh and tasty but could have done with some toast for the price and unfortunately the egg wasn't runny. We had a lovely relaxing morning here.
We booked a table for Sunday lunch but we were very disappointed.. We had been there in the past and the cakes are quite good, so we thought the meals may be the same.. We waited nearly an hour for our dinner while other people arrived after us and were served before us.. We had seen other peoples dinners which had cauliflower cheese and a good selection of veg including carrots.. I specifically asked for the gravy to be served separately, but when the meal arrived it had been poured over it.. The waitress said, oh sorry I did tell her' and walked off.. Our dinners were nearly cold, we had just a few veg, which looked very apparent as being the frozen variety.. Mini sweet corns and peas, one tiny yorkshire pudding which was the nicest thing on the plate, and the gravy was the instant type and still had undissolved lumps in it.. Overall the meal was very disappointing and when I asked if I could please have some cauliflower cheese and carrots like everybody else, the waitress just said 'we don't have any left, these are the last meals' !! Despite the fact that we had booked especially as we had relatives visiting.. When we ordered dessert after the main meal, this was brought to us and put on the table while all the dinner plates were all just left there..It was actually quite unbelievable.. I have never seen anything quite like it.. What a shame!
