What a breath of fresh air! Id visited many dealers before Pullingers and always felt like another mug ready to be robbed. Barrie Pullinger and his team were different from the off. My wife and I turned up late one Saturday afternoon to be greeted by Barry Goody who couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful. We were there a couple of hours exploring the large range of vans, Barry unobtrusive but always ready to help with our questions. Two days later I rang Barrie to do a deal on our preferred Dethleffs motorhome. It only took a few minutes of civilised conversation, nothing like the usual salesman patter - Ill have to put your offer to my manager - only for them to come back after 10 minutes with some derisory counter offer.After a week, three days earlier than the date agreed, the van was ready for collection. All the faults Id identified (all minor) had been resolved along with some other work that Id not asked for had also been done. Although neither were required, theyd also given the van a new MOT and a changed the cam belt! John the workshop manager, did the handover which took over an hour. He was very thorough with his explanations, and again he couldnt have been more helpful and said he was only a phone call away if I needed help with anything, large or small.I smiled all the way home on my four hour journey, the van was a delight to drive and it performed perfectly. To cap it all, the next day in the daylight, I found a Pullingers bag full of treats and a wonderful leather bound travel log to record all our adventures - fantastic!In summary, Ive bought tens of new and used vehicles over the years, including top end German marques, from all types of dealer, and Ive never had an experience that came anywhere near the delight of buying from Pullingers. I recommend them highly!!

We telephoned to discuss the spec and price of a Dethleffs, the person we spoke to, who was very pleasant, explained he couldnt provide pricing and would refer our enquiry to someone who would ring us the next day. We waited for 48 hours and placed our order elsewhere.
