A really nice friendly little pub where I have started to drink lately. My friend and I always receive a welcome ( even when the pub is not due to open for a few more hours) Come in, do you want a drink? Said the landlord. They always have some good beers which are cellared to perfection. Seek out this little gem on the Headingham road out of Halstead. They also offer excellent B&B accommodation.
