We visited Halstead after 3pm and was pleasantly pleased to see this takeaway was serving food all day. We were starving and ordered one small fish and chips and one large fish and medium chips for my other half. The food took around fifteen minutes to cook and when we tucked in both of us remarked how lovely the food was. The fish and batter were so fresh and it was a pleasure to enjoy Britains favourite takeaway. Neither of us managed to eat it all so we took it with us. The staff were warm and welcoming and the takeaway was really clean, which made the whole experience exceptional. Who would have thought it. Anyway I would have no problem recommending the Hook, it was fab.
