Great olde worlde character pub. Excellent food.
Good atmosphere, staff seemed rather hacked off in general, but prices were not too bad. Parking can be a pain if car park full.
Gorgeous pub, great ale and super quirky. Shame the staff were so miserable! It didn't dampen our visit though. Clean toilets.
Advertised as dog friendly, but don't take your dog in if you want it to be attacked by the 2 big dogs that live in the pub. Staff don't care as you fight off their dogs to protect your own. And when we walked outside to leave the owner happily smoking weed out of the door at the top.. how lovely.
Lovely local pub. Several small rooms, so cosy indeed. Outdoor seating and large car park. Very friendly bar staff. Last Sunday lunchtime of every month, there is live jazz. The music was great, and very relaxing. Food was delicious. I had the vegan mushroom pie. Flavours were astounding.Children enjoyed the simple fayre of chips and cauliflower cheese. No specific kids menu (which I liked - discourages nuggets...).
